Lee Tiedrich is a widely recognized leader in artificial intelligence, data, and emerging technologies working at the intersection of technology, business, law and policy. With degrees in engineering and law, she served as a Senior AI Advisor to the US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), as an OECD/GPAI consultant and expert, and as a Senior Adviser and contributor to the International Scientific Reports on the Safety of Advanced AI, supported by more than 30 countries and multilateral organizations. She was a partner at the global law firm Covington & Burling LLP and co-led the firm’s global and multidisciplinary AI practice. She is the CEO and founder of Tiedrich Global Strategies, a member of the APCO Worldwide International Advisory Council, and a Strategic Advisor at Analysis Group. She has held faculty positions at Duke University, the University of Pennsylvania, and the University of Maryland. She is widely published and speaks regularly around the globe.
