Josiah is an independent security researcher and lead for Coalition for Secure AI’s workstream ‘Preparing Defenders for a Changing Threat Landscape.’ He has 20 years of professional software development experience, hunting threats with ML, turning unstructured data into knowledge graphs, and solving various problems with math. Past research includes data science on Domain Generating Algorithms, using ML to detect Exploit Kit landing pages in-line in IPS, building models for vulnerability prioritization, large scale clustering of malware, and agentic alert triage. Current work focuses on the risks of ubiquitous zero-day exploitation, AI behavioral monitoring, and building testably secure frameworks for AI security.
