Shanika Norville is the Head of Information Security at Marken – a UPS Company – and oversees the company’s comprehensive information security strategy. With over 20 years of experience in cybersecurity and IT risk management, Shanika has a proven track record of protecting corporate assets and ensuring compliance with industry regulations for Fortune 500 companies.
Shanika’s career began as a technical business analyst at Wells Fargo (Wachovia), where she quickly advanced to senior roles due to her keen understanding of complex security and risk management challenges and innovative approach to problem-solving. Before joining Marken, she held several senior managerial roles at LabCorp and Deutsche Bank.
At Marken, Shanika is responsible for developing and implementing robust security policies, managing security technologies, and leading incident response initiatives. She works closely with other executives to integrate security measures with business goals, ensuring a balanced approach to risk management and operational efficiency.
Shanika holds an MBA from Webster University and a BS in Management Information Systems from UNC-Charlotte. Shanika is the proud mother of two girls, Emersyn and Isabella. In her spare time, she can be found cheering them on at a soccer field, cheerleading competition, or dance recital.
