Brian Reed is the Senior Director of Cybersecurity Strategy at Proofpoint. Before Proofpoint, Brian was a research analyst at Gartner. From 2015-2020, he published 50+ research notes at Gartner, covering a wide range of cybersecurity and risk management topics. Brian has presented at Gartner conferences and cybersecurity events around the world.
Before Gartner, he spent many years in a variety of product management and systems engineering roles. Brian also serves as an advisory board member for corporate and non-profit organizations and holds a BA degree in History from The University of Georgia and an MBA from Kennesaw State University.
